Pipeline Integrity Management

Over and over again the legislator asks the pipeline-operator for an assessment of the present and future condition of the pipeline. Many pipeline-operators have not enough manpower and knowledge how to provide a confident answer. They have all necessary data but they aren’t able to combine them. The solution is a Pipeline Integrity Management System (PIMS). ARS offers his customers the development and the support of a PIMS. The ARS PIMS is based on the GIS Pipeline manager by DMCone. ARS combines the Pipeline manger with analyse tools from own development and third party tools. The result is a customer-specific PIMS. With this tool the customer is able to combine all of his pipeline-specific data (cathodic protection surveys, pig surveys, third party activities, environmental data and so on) with a geographical location. The pipeline-operator could so easy detect the areas there they must take action.
